Questions, answered

Most people asking these have never embroidered before. That's exactly who the kits are built for.

I've genuinely never done this. Can I actually do it?

Yes, and you don't need to take our word for it. The fabric arrives with the pattern already printed on it, so there's no tracing, no transfer paper and no drawing. You follow the lines. The instructions show each stitch as a picture, not a paragraph. If you can thread a needle, and we show you how to do that too, you can finish a kit.

What's actually in the box?

A wooden hoop, the pre-printed fabric, the threads you need in the right colours, needles, and a printed instruction guide. That's the whole list. You don't need scissors, a frame, or a trip to a craft shop. The hoop doubles as the frame when you're done.

How long will a kit take me?

It depends on the design, which is why we put a time estimate on every kit. Smaller pieces run 1 to 2 hours. Detailed ones run 4 or more. You can put it down halfway through and come back next week. Nothing spoils.

What if I mess it up?

You unpick it and stitch it again. That's genuinely it. Thread isn't permanent, and every kit ships with more thread than the design needs precisely because beginners redo things. Nobody's first hoop is perfect and it doesn't matter.

What if I don't like it when it arrives?

Send it back within 30 days and we'll refund you. You don't need a reason and you don't need to have kept it pristine.

How much is shipping?

$5.95 anywhere in the United States, and free once your order passes $75.

How long does delivery take?

Typically 5 to 10 business days after dispatch. We'll email tracking once your order ships.

Is this a good gift?

It's one of the few gifts that gives someone an evening rather than an object. Beginner kits are the safest bet if you're buying for someone who's never stitched.

Do you sell anything besides embroidery?

Yes. We stock bookbinding and leather tools too, for people who finish one thing and immediately want to make another. Kits also includes punch needle and crochet where those are the better first project.
